Full-Time Shelter Liaison/Advocate - Dove House Advocacy Services.
Ensure that the Dove House shelter is safe and well maintained. Provide crisis intervention and advocacy-based counseling to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or general crime. Staff the crisis line (including after hours and weekends as assigned) providing support, information and referrals. Conduct client intake and provide information/referrals. Assist shelter residents with community living and house rules/procedures. Maintain all required paperwork in a timely manner. Complete required training. Qualifications: Ability to maintain cleanliness of physical building and prepare rooms for residents as needed. Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of community resources and an understanding of the impact of trauma on family and child development are a plus. Bilingual (Spanish/English) individuals encouraged to apply. Must pass a background check.
