Dove House
Advocacy Services

Our mission is to empower victims of crime and abuse
in Jefferson County through education, advocacy, and crisis intervention.

Dove House is a registered provider of emergency domestic violence shelter and advocacy, and trauma informed services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of crime. Dove House is also the only Crime Victim Service center in Jefferson County, WA. We operate the only Recovery Café on the Olympic Peninsula.
Our Services

Sexual Assault

Sexual assault is ANY form of sexual contact without consent or permission. People do not ask for, cause, invite, or deserve to be sexually assaulted. Sexual assault is a choice made by the offender and does not happen by accident. The victim/survivor is never responsible for the assault.  A victim can be an adult or a child, male or female.

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence refers to a pattern of abusive behavior in an intimate relationship where one partner seeks to gain or maintain power and control over the other. This can involve physical, emotional, psychological, or sexual abuse.

General Crime

General crime refers to unlawful acts that violate societal norms and laws. These acts can be categorized into various types, including property crimes, violent crimes, and white-collar crimes. General crime not only harms individuals but also undermines community safety and trust, leading to broader societal impacts.
Our advocates are available to talk to you if the abuse happened today or many years ago or whether the abuse happened to you or to someone you care about.
