Dove House Benefits

Each year, Dove House has a variety of events for everyone to participate in.  Fundraising events, Awareness Raising Events, or classes on personal growth and self-defense; we have something for everyone.

Fundraising Events

To commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness month, Dove House is kicking off the month of October on October 1st with a very special concert event featuring Seattle's own folk music sensation The Brothers Four!  Limited sponsorship is currently available to help offset the costs of this event. Click here to learn more opportunities and benefits for sponsoring this event.

Awareness Raising

Join us, April 23rd as we host our annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event. Starting at Rotary Park by US Bank, we walk to the Pope Marine Park wearing red high heeled shoes to show support and raise awareness of how a woman is faced with discomfort on a regular basis. The shoes, while literal, also serve as a metaphor for the pain caused by inequality, harassment, and assault.

Benefits

This year, Dove House is both delighted and honored to be the chosen benefactor for the Rotary's annual Fund-A- Cause event on April 23rd.  Tickets are currently available for purchase. You can learn more about the event, by clicking here.

Do you golf?  Click here to learn more about the Annual Golf Tournament put on by the gracious Boeing Bluebills. This year's tournment will be held September 10th at the Port Ludlow Golf Club.

Classes

Dove House offers their clients a variety of classes to help empower them on their journey. Classes currently include Changing Patterns, Connections, and a financial series.

Interested in learning some new skills yourself?  Dove House offers Healthy Relationship Skills  and R.A.D. (Rape. Aggression. Defense.) for the general public. Watch our Facebook page for the next class offering.
