WHAT IS THE RECOVERY CAFÉ AND WHAT DOES IT OFFER?
Recovery Cafés are beautiful, safe, warm, drug and alcohol-free spaces fostering accountable communities that anchor people in sustained recovery. We provide support to help people gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education, and employment.
The Recovery Café model begins with the understanding that every human being is precious and worthy of love regardless of past trauma, mental and emotional anguish, addictive behaviors, or mistakes.
We support everyone wherever they are on their journey and encourage multiple pathways to recovery. We teach people ways to manage their mental and physical health, maintain sobriety, and build community. We help each individual reclaim life as a person worthy of giving and receiving love.
Whether in crisis, during a difficult life change, a physical health challenge, mental health transition, or any stage of recovery, the Café is there as a refuge of care. Recovery Café community is designed to help people maintain recovery, reduce relapse, and fulfill their potential. Important elements of this work include (click to learn more):
