Support safety, healing and hope for those in recovery from domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, mental illness, substance use,
and other traumatic li
fe experiences.
Your
gift helps survivors access emergency and
long-term affordable housing; peer-to-peer and
counseling based advocacy; legal, educational

.  More than that,
it inspires those who encounter barriers on their journeys toward rebuilding their lives
to keep trying despite the challenges.

Dove House was founded in 1979 and became officially incorporated in 1983 under the original name
Domestic Violence Sexual Assault of Jefferson County.  In 2009, construction of the Dove House offices at
1045 10th St. in Port Townsend, WA was completed and the agency officially changed the name
to Dove House Advocacy Services.

Our unique niche among services available in Jefferson County, WA
is our client-centered, wrap-around, and trauma-informed recognition of, and response to,
the ways in which trauma creates challenges to those seeking to restore and maintain healthy lives.

We provide services to those in recovery from domestic violence, homelessness, sexual assault,
mental illness, addiction, general crimes, and other sources of trauma.

Dove House offers one-to-one advocacy, therapy, support groups/classes,
and operates a temporary emergency shelter for victims fleeing domestic violence,
a transitional housing program for women and families transitioning into independence,
 and the Recovery Café
